iPod touch + larger screen + drop down menus and pallets = the next step for mobile desktop applications to me. Of course some programs will now be on the same level as it’s desktop counterpart, but I’m sure that producer on the subway with a beat in his head could play it on his screen and record. That artist who digitally paints with Corel painter would no longer have to shovel out 2 grand on a tablet for a canvas. I’m just hoping for designers to make a iPad sized duffle bag so I don’t have to explain to everyone that it’s a satchel and Indian Jones carried one.
